Interview mit "Wealth of Networks"-Autor Yochai Benkler

Yochai Benkler war einer der Top-Sprecher bei der Wizards of OS-Konferenz, die gerade in Berlin läuft. Yochai unterrichtet an der Yale University und hat kürzlich sein neuestes Buch “The Wealth of Networks – How Social Production Transforms Markets and Freedom” veröffentlicht, das sich mit free Information und commons-based peer production befasst, also mit der gemeinsamen Produktion von Wissen und Inhalten, die der Allgemeinheit zur Verfügung stehen. Creative Commons-Gründer Larry Lessig schreibt über das Buch:

“Yochai Benkler’s book, The Weath of Networks, is out. This is — by far — the most important and powerful book written in the fields that matter most to me in the last ten years. If there is one book you read this year, it should be this. (…)Read it. Understand it. You are not serious about these issues — on either side of these debates — unless you have read this book.”
